We did it!!!
Last month myself and Marcus tackled Mt Kenya to raise money for Toucan. We came up with the idea last year (I am sure over a few drinks). After months of training we made it to the hiking summit of Point Lenana (4985m) at 7am on Friday 1st February after setting off on our adventure on Tuesday 29th January.
It was definitely a challenge and with the altitude it was a lot harder than what I had imagined but together and with the support of our guide, Robert and climbing team we had an experience of a lifetime. And most importantly we raised a massive £2673.35 for Toucan, so we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that supported us.
